The elements described below are based on the pro version, it is likely that in the free version some of these elements are not available.

In the pro version you can create multiple accounts, it is important to remember that the categories that are added are only visible to the account where they were created.
To add a new category from the options choose “Edit Categories”. In the next screen we look if we are going to save the category for expenses or for income, we touch the button [+], then we put the name to the category and finally we touch the button [Save].
In more than one occasion we are going to occupy that one category is in all accounts, in this case we follow almost the same procedure described above with the difference that, where it says “Account”, we will choose “All accounts”.
Then we write the name of the category and touch the [Save] button, now the category will be created in all accounts.
If we want to copy categories from one account to another, we must do the following: Enter the options of the application and then choose “Edit categories”, in the next screen, we must keep the touch where is the category that we want to copy, if is necessary then we choose more categories and we touch the button of [Copy] (in the image it is highlighted with orange), in the next window where it says “Destination” we are going to select the account where we want to paste and finally we touch the button [Yes].

The Daily Expenses application is distributed in several countries around the world, for this reason there is an option where the user can choose the currency format used in his country, this feature can be modified from the settings:
DATE AND TIME FORMAT

This option allows activating or deactivating transfers in the calculations performed by the application:
Daily Expenses has in its pro version 8 light themes and 8 Dark themes:
This option allows activating or deactivating the floating button of the home screen:
This is one of the most important tools with which Daily Expenses count. The option where it says “Automatic backups” serves so that the application created an endorsement of the entire database on the device, this happens once a day. Backups that have 8 days or more are deleted and replaced by a day backup. If the user wants to restart the device to the factory state, it is very important to make sure to backup its database on the PC, Dropbox, Gmail or Google Drive.
[Create backup] – This option can send a backup to the device (internal memory), Gmail, Dropbox and Google Drive. It is recommended that the user send backups to Dropbox or Google Drive, so you can recover your data safely, in case of breakdown or theft of your device.
[Search backups on Device] – The following items appear in the list: “automatic” are the backups that the application creates each day, “user” this label will be displayed if there is a backup on the device created by the user.

For the application to load backups in Google Drive it is necessary to have sent a manual backup at least once.
[Search backups on Dropbox] – The following items appear in the list: “automatic” are the backups that the application creates every day, “user” this label will be displayed if there is a backup in the device created by the user. [Reset database] – This button deletes all the contents of the database and leaves it as it was on the day of installation of the application, that is, a clean database with its fundamental characteristics.

Option for the application to ask for a password every time the user enters.
This option activates the permission so that Daily Expenses can access the user’s Dropbox account, with this permission the application can load and, if necessary, also download backups, as well as send any of the different reports that the application creates.
In the case of backups, the fact of activating this option does not mean that the application will be sending backup to Dropbox automatically, the user must do it manually.
What happens if this option is disabled?
Nothing happens until you try to upload or download something from Daily Expenses to your Dropbox, the application will show you the following message: “This application was not authenticated correctly.”
What happens if the user needs to bring the device to service?
In this case it is recommended that you first send a copy of your database to Dropbox or Google Drive, if the technician removes the contents of your phone, then you can recover your data later.
Enable or disable notifications, also allows to change the time in which the user wants to remind him to record his expenses.
